Yamaha Corp. is a multinational company offering a wide array of products, specializing in musical instruments and electronics. Originally the company was established in 1887 in Japan as a piano and reed organ manufacturer.
After World War II, the company turned its war-time machinery production into the manufacture of motorcycles. In 1958, the first 125 cc street bike came out, “Green Buzzard”. It was later copied by Harley-Davidson as the “Hummer”.
